About the Day…
Day With The King is designed to enable you to take time out from the hustle and bustle of life, and experience the presence of God.
Our purpose is to empower Christians to use their God-given gifts to encourage and strengthen others. So, we create space for Holy Spirit-led worship, teaching and prayer.
When we meet, all refreshments are provided for, including hot and cold drinks, delicious pastries, fresh fruit and a buffet style lunch. Due to the global pandemic, we have taken the decision not to meet in person, but will broadcast our next Day live on Facebook and YouTube! You can connect with us from the comfort of your own home.
We encourage you to create a space in your home to allow you to make this time special. Bring a notebook, pen and Bible. We believe you will experience God’s presence and hear from Him, right where you are, as you make time to seek Him.
We feel an important part of the day is the relationships which are made as we come together. So, to facilitate this, you will have an opportunity to book into DWTK Zoom Lunch with the team! This allows you to join a smaller group as you have lunch together between 12.30-1.15pm. When you register, request a place at DWTK Zoom Lunch, and we will send you a DWTK Zoom Lunch invite, three days before the event. DWTK Zoom Lunch will encourage you to make new friends and share your experiences from the morning.
Prayer is an important aspect of the day. Throughout the day, our prayer team are available, and you can ask for prayer, at any time. Simply text YOUR NAME to 07470 656 286 and someone from the team will call and pray with you.
Finally, our creche for children aged one to ten years old has been growing over the last year. We don’t want that to stop, so our Day With The King YouTube Channel will have videos for children, with engaging content just for them. Resources will also be available for you to download for them from the creche page of the website. If you require access to the children’s resources, please let us know when you register.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness the prisoners to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn.”
Isaiah 61 verse 1-2
