About The Day…

Day With The King is designed to enable you to take time out from the hustle and bustle of life, and experience the presence of God. Our purpose is to empower Christians to use their God-given gifts to encourage and strengthen others. So, we create space for Holy Spirit-led worship, teaching and prayer.

Our next, and final, Day With The King event will be on Saturday 25 th September 2021. We are pleased to announce this event will take place online and in person! (In person participation will be subject to Covid-19 restrictions and social distancing measures in place at the time of the event). We feel an important part of the day is the relationships which are made as we come together. We are so pleased to be able to join together for our final Day With The King event. Limited spaces are available. If you would like to attend in person, please register online early to avoid disappointment.

The event will be live streamed on YouTube! You can connect with us from the comfort of your own home at 10am and 11.45am on Saturday 25th September.

This is a British Sign Language interpreted event. Please register in advance to let us know if you will be accessing the BSL interpreter online or attending in person.

If you are watching online, we encourage you to create a space in your home to allow you to make this time special. Bring a notebook, pen and Bible. We believe you will experience God’s presence and hear from Him, right where you are, as you make time to seek Him.

Prayer is an important aspect of the day. Throughout the morning, our prayer team are available, and you can ask for prayer, at any time. Simply text YOUR NAME to 07470 656 286 and someone from the team will call and pray with you. For those requesting prayer who are present on the day, social distancing measures in line with government advice will be followed.

When we meet, all refreshments are provided for, including hot and cold drinks, delicious pastries and fresh fruit. We have taken the decision not to provide lunch. We will finish at 1pm.

Unfortunately, there will not be a creche facility available for this event.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness the prisoners to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn.”

Isaiah 61 verse 1-2
